Vintage Thingie Thursday! Grandmother's Necklace Sparkled-Up!

I just love jewelry! I especially love the jewelry I inherited from both my grandmothers.  Most of it is not expensive, just priceless to me.  I wear most of it, I really do!  I have learned not to point this out too much to my own mother, because it always makes her cry, which is never my intention.  I know she is proud that I love it enough to wear it, but I guess things like that affect different people different ways. With that being said, here's the first picture my grandmother's necklace that I wore to my daughter's showchoir performance Tuesday evening.

It is a triple-strand, black crystal, choker-style necklace. The crystals were cut very sharp, it's a little itchy!

Just pin it to the center of the necklace. Nothing new, just sometimes in our hurried lives we may forget that by adding a little something extra, we can re-invent a beautiful piece of jewelry into something extraordinary! Well, it may not be extraordinary, but I did get a lot of compliments on it!
